I bought my first acre in Shasta County in 1987. Being a fisher person and a horsewoman, the breath taking Hat Creek Valley drew me 14 miles north of beautiful Mt. Lassen to the little resort community of Old Station. The fishing is first class, the trail riding is unlimited and the snow is spectacular.
In 2003, my 9 year old horse, my 2 dogs and I left the winter wonderland for the milder climate of the Redding valley. After an exhausting search for property, most of which was not suitable for horses, I finally found the perfect combination of house and property outside Anderson in the country.
